What do you mean by raw wool?

It is wool cut from sheep without any treatment, which contains impurities and grease. Generally, it is processed into semi-finished products after washing, carbonization and carding.

Wool is mainly composed of protein. Australia, the former Soviet Union, New Zealand, Argentina, China, etc. Sheep wool can be divided into five types according to fineness and length: fine wool, semi-fine wool, long wool, hybrid wool and coarse wool. The sheep wool varieties in China are Mongolian wool, Tibetan wool and Kazakh wool. The main factors to evaluate wool quality are fineness, curl, color, strength and grass impurity content.
