What are the clothes and hairstyles of children in Song Dynasty?
Yang Zhishui's "From Children's Poems to Bai Zi's Clothes" in "A New Proof of Ancient Poems and Famous Things" and the map of Bai Zi from Tang and Song Dynasties to Ming and Qing Dynasties reproduce the life scenes full of childlike interest in ancient times. However, there are relatively few discussions about children's hair styles in baby play pictures. As far as hairstyles are concerned, most books only mention hairstyles such as "gelatin", "edge", "bun" and "total angle", and there are not many corresponding legends, and there is no specific morphological analysis and systematic classification. When Shen Congwen described Song Li's Salesman Map in the Southern Song Dynasty in the Study of Ancient Chinese Costume, he mentioned "a child with hair" and "a little urchin with hair or horns, facing his face or shortening his coat". Huang Nengfu and Chen Juanjuan mentioned in "The Art of Costume in the Past Dynasties in China" that the hair style of children is called "inclined top" with a pinch of hair on the upper left, and "Gujiao" with a silk rope on the top. Mr. Gao Chunming's textual research on the names of China's costumes also involves the names of many children's hairstyles, such as "Xun", "General's Corner", "Fury" and "Zigai".
