Do Tajiks intermarry with other nationalities?

Tajiks generally do not marry foreigners. Tajiks are monogamous and generally intermarry within their own ethnic groups. Tajik marriage generally goes through many processes and ceremonies, such as mate selection, marriage proposal, engagement and marriage. The ethnic origin of Tajiks can be traced back to Iranian-speaking tribes in the eastern Pamirs several centuries BC. These tribes were distributed in many places south of Tianshan Mountain in China in the early years. 1 1 century, Turkic nomadic tribes collectively referred to the Iranian-speaking and Islamic-believing peoples in Central Asia as "Tajiks".
