The Historical Origin of Traditional Politics

The historical origin of traditionalist politics can be traced back to ancient Greece. Plato's discussion of "justice" in The Republic and Aristotle's pursuit of "supreme virtue" in Politics laid the foundation for the early form of political theory to take ethics as the core. Since then, whether it is the theocracy theory with God as the core in the Middle Ages or the natural politics theory with rights or powers as the core in the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, the strong color of moral philosophy and the use of speculative language and deductive interpretation methods have always been the basic characteristics of political science theoretical research, and directly influenced the emergence and development of modern political science. At the end of 19th century and the beginning of 2th century, modern political science first developed in America. Although it was influenced by scientism in its founding period, it still bears the deep imprint of classical political science research.
