The Main Sources of Carbon Emissions in China

The main source of carbon emissions in China is coal, accounting for about 60% of the total carbon emissions in China. The emission of greenhouse gases has caused the greenhouse effect and led to the rise of global temperature. While absorbing solar radiation, the earth itself radiates heat to outer space, and its thermal radiation is mainly long-wave infrared rays of 3 to 30 μ m. After entering the atmosphere, this long-wave radiation is easily absorbed by some gas molecules with large molecular weight and strong polarity.

Because the infrared energy is low, it is not enough to break the molecular bond energy. Therefore, after gas molecules absorb infrared radiation, there is no chemical reaction, only to prevent heat from escaping from the earth, which is equivalent to adding a layer of heat insulation between the earth and outer space, that is, a greenhouse.

Coal is called black gold and industrial food. Since18th century, it has been one of the main energy sources used in the human world. Since the 2 1 century, although the value of coal is not as good as before, it is still one of the indispensable energy sources for our human production and life for a long time. The supply of coal is also related to the stability of China industry and even the whole society. Coal supply security is also the most important link of energy security in China.
