During the meeting, President of Automotive Industry Research Institute of Hexcom Manufacturing Intelligence Research Institute and Vice President of East China Commercial Group delivered a keynote speech on "Focus on design and manufacturing to make batteries safer".

Good afternoon everyone! Teacher Zhou, thank you for providing such a good communication platform.

Hex can't make his own battery. Our mission is to make batteries safer through our technology.

The battery industry is developing rapidly now, but it hopes to have higher quality development. A large part of Haikekang's business and technology is focused on quality.

Today, I mainly share four aspects:

Heicks Kang is a company from Europe, which mainly focuses on sensors and software, and provides customers with digital information solutions through the combination of sensors and software.

At present, the Group is most concerned about two scenarios: 1. Intelligent manufacturing. 2. Smart cities.

Ranked 36th among global technology companies, with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.

In recent years, the group has continuously acquired new software companies and new sensor companies, hoping to realize the connection between virtual technology and digital technology through our core technology.

The group has gathered nearly 200 professional technology companies, covering all kinds of sensors and software. For example, the German factory in Lai Ci manufactures high-precision measuring equipment, the Italian factory focuses on anthropometric equipment, EagleMap focuses on mapping and planning software, and some companies focus on unmanned platforms. From the perspective of company size, some companies are large and some companies are small. There are 20~30 people in a small company, but one small company has mastered the core technology of 1~2. For example, a company under our group has mastered the 3D engine algorithm. Although the company is small, its technology is very important.

In the past two years, domestic enterprises are generally anxious, worried about the safety of foreign supply chains and worried that foreign supply chains will be cut off. How did our group handle it? China is our group's largest market. Every six months, not only colleagues in Europe and North America ask us how China is. As long as we say that China is all right, they will be relieved. From the perspective of enterprises, everyone hopes to have a stable environment for better development. In the past two years, the company has repeatedly considered future wars and actively negotiated with the group to accelerate the localization layout, such as setting up an intelligent manufacturing research institute. After more than two years, the group has brought a lot of technologies to China for localized development and production, and the software is also being localized. Judging from the current situation, Hexcom users don't have to worry, and we will continue to serve local customers.

In the process of engineering design, we provide all-round finite element simulation technology to complete the accurate simulation of many disciplines such as body dynamics, NVH and battery thermal management. At the same time, we apply virtual simulation technology to trial production, which effectively reduces the cost of physical testing.

We focus on the application of simulation technology in all aspects and combine it with the physical world to provide a large number of equipment and technology for the global automobile industry.

Three. Technical case of quality management:

Quality, we have provided four quality technologies for Beijing Benz. Daimler's domestic engine production has been increasing, so it has been expanding, and we have been helping it with quality control.

We provide analysis equipment for BMW Shenyang base analysis center.

We provide online BIW test stations for Volvo, which has become a global standard.

Provide batch test centers for SAIC Volkswagen, which are available in almost every base to ensure the consistency of products in each base.

Wuhan General Base provides the powertrain batch test center.

Heicks provides technology and services to about 75% of the world's automobile manufacturing industry.

As shown in the figure, Baidu is unmanned. Baidu Apollo is a platform, but this platform needs the underlying wire control technology and basic technology. We have promoted the development of domestic related technologies at the grassroots level.

In the aspect of unmanned driving, we cooperated with Beijing Guoqi Zhilian to set up an unmanned joint venture company in Anqing to provide technical support for domestic unmanned driving.

What I just shared is the experience and cases in the field of traditional automobiles. The current situation is the acceleration of the era of intelligent electric vehicles. Now more and more attention is paid to two aspects, intelligence and electrification. Now we no longer doubt this trend.

In intelligent electric vehicles, the production and safety of batteries are very important. From the future trend, the capacity of the battery will be larger and larger. At present, according to the analysis of our company, we have not reached the level of mass production of batteries, because our current quantity only accounts for more than 8%, and the proportion is very small. The era of large-scale warranty has not yet arrived, and we need to be prepared for the rapid expansion of battery production. Batteries are a little different from traditional fuel power. For example, we have cooperated with Daimler and BMW for decades, so they have quality systems at home and abroad. We cooperate with independent brands such as Geely and Chery, and they have made rapid progress in recent years. The important reason is that their quality system can refer to foreign countries in a sense and can also be established with the help of our company. In terms of traditional power, many foreign original equipment manufacturers are groping, accumulating and trying. Relatively speaking, there are mature quality systems, including virtual simulation systems, and domestic progress is relatively fast. However, batteries are a special case. Battery production is mainly in East Asia. Initially, some technologies mainly came from Europe and North America. Now we exchange battery technology with colleagues in Europe or North America. They are very confused and have never seen many things at all.

This situation leads to the reconfiguration of the whole battery design and production in China, including the virtual simulation system, because there is no reference object, including the quality system of future manufacturing, which can not be solved by several sets of software and sensors. The establishment of the system is a relatively complicated process. At present, from the analysis of our company, there is no way to directly introduce these two systems. We have cooperation with BYD, Rip and Ningde. Provide them with a quality system, but it is still a relatively independent and separate system. We haven't established a complete quality system yet, and we need to cooperate with many domestic battery manufacturers. After mass production of batteries, I hope these systems can be established, otherwise the risk is great. When Volkswagen builds a new engine base or vehicle base, as long as it copies the original one, the original system will be mature. For example, the quality of the factory built in Nanjing is the same, as is the quality of the factory built in Yizheng, because it follows the same production and quality system. But without this system, the risk is considerable. This is also an important reason why we hope to cooperate with domestic battery manufacturers to build a safe and reproducible quality system.

In recent years, we have cooperated with various battery manufacturers in subsystem. Here is a brief introduction.

MSC has various simulation subsystems and various simulation capabilities. We need to establish our own simulation system according to the needs of various battery manufacturers.

For example, the thermal management analysis of the assembly, including the thermal analysis of the liquid-cooled battery pack and the Adams-Marc joint simulation of the battery pack structure, is to solve the battery safety problem in the subsystem.

1. We need to add various simulation systems; 2. We should constantly sum up and finally establish a system.

It is necessary to establish a complete quality system. At present, every technology has this system. For example, in the quality assurance of electrode or pole piece detection, there are special cameras and special defect detection software. Including battery internal inspection, CT inspection can be done. We have sensors and software. Extended to the final battery pack inspection, including the wiring harness and pipe inspection on the battery pack.

I mainly shared two healthy contents before: 1. Virtual simulation technology. 2. Quality management technology is the traditional technology of Hickcom. In recent years, according to the development of Hickcom's group and industry, it has gradually expanded from the initial quality simulation to smart factories and then to some new aspects.

Heicks's initial main technology includes two parts: 1. Sensor. 2. Software. There are two main parts in the future smart factory: data and algorithm. In a sense, our quality technology and smart factory technology are interlinked. Judging from Haikekang's ability, our group has a large number of sensor companies and a large number of software companies. We know that we can do this in terms of ability. On 20 16, the group began to lay out smart factories. We hope that in the future, Sanpower will have the opportunity to cooperate with you on smart factory solutions, whether it is a new factory for battery or motor manufacturing or a new factory for electric drive manufacturing.

Hecks understands that smart factories also have a certain level. No factory says that it is definitely a smart factory and it is definitely not a smart factory. This is a gradual process, but at the beginning, more software and sensors will be distributed.

There are four layers in the architecture, from front-end sensor arrangement to software acquisition, to big data algorithm, and finally to decision-making layer, which can make the whole factory easier to manage.

The goal of Hexcom intelligent factory system is to build a digital world parallel to the physical world. There are many systems here, and many systems are used alone. In recent years, digital technology and software technology have developed rapidly, and many subsystems have matured faster than originally thought. At present, there are various problems in the experience of new energy vehicles from the beginning, and the experience of running through the software system has made great progress. Therefore, our goal is to build a parallel digital world. Logically speaking, as long as each subsystem can break through, it can be realized.

The map of Hexcom smart factory, from design to engineering, to supply chain management, to operation and maintenance. Smart factory is indeed a relatively large project. At present, we have done ten scenes, from design to engineering to manufacturing, mainly combining the characteristics and capabilities of some of our own software and sensors.
