The first reason is the climate. You can count the days when it snows and freezes in the south. If the network is not so developed now, I'm afraid most southerners will never see snow. Therefore, the basic people of China's ice and snow can be imagined.

The second reason is that the economy does not allow it, and it is also because the ice and snow sports itself have high requirements for venues, equipment and training. Things that are demanding are naturally expensive. For example, the ice in the venue is very expensive, and there must be at least one real ice rink, which is very demanding from the beginning of design. Several layers of different building materials should be laid under the ground of the skating rink, and relevant refrigeration pipes should be embedded in order to achieve the purpose of refrigeration, heat insulation, protection of low-temperature pipes and prevention of thermal expansion and contraction. The skating rink itself should also be well insulated. These systems consume a lot of energy, and the annual photovoltaic fee is not a small figure, and the more places, the higher the thermoelectric fee. There are at least a few ice-brushing cars, and one needs at least several hundred thousand, and there are other expenses. Therefore, the operation of the ice rink is a very big consumption.

And the equipment used is also very expensive, which is ridiculously expensive. It has been calculated that an average amateur ice hockey club player spends more than $20,000 a year: one ice hockey stick, several hundred dollars, at least three a year.
