As the largest private classical garden in Lingnan, this 4A scenic spot naturally has two brushes! As one of the three schools of traditional gardening art in China, Lingnan Garden has the characteristics of lightness, transparency and exquisite decoration, which is different from the grandeur of northern gardens and the exquisiteness of Jiangnan gardens.

Zhan Garden is built on the mountain and beside the river, with Lingnan characteristics as the keynote, inheriting the essence of China classical gardens, highlighting the layout of Lingnan water towns and absorbing western garden styles. Water bodies and decorations are mostly geometric forms.

Although the Zhan Garden built by 1998 is a new garden, its materials are mostly folk antique materials. Every brick and tile, every door and window embodies traces of history. It is like a museum of folk cultural relics hidden in the city.

Zhongshan dazhaimen

Zhan Garden was designed by its owner, Huang Yuanxin, named "Source" by his father and "Shanyuan" by his life bridge. Take the mother's surname as the crown of "Zhan Yuan". This unicorn is carved from red sandstone.

The slate paintings on both sides of Ruishou area have lotus patterns carved with sandstone bas-reliefs, which is called "one product at a time". Although the composition is simple, it has profound implications. A lotus in the middle has the potential to become a current product.

Not only in Ruishou area, but also in other parts of Zhanyuan, there are some stone foundations, drums, piers, strips and tables with different shapes. Although the ages are different, they all have unique styles.

republic of letters

The design purpose of Wenyuan Garden is the place where the garden owner and literati recite poems and paint to cultivate their sentiments.
