Abstract: In recent years, the development of higher education has shown new characteristics. First, it is internationalization. Many domestic universities have invested in the process of various international education professional certifications. The second is popularization, which shows that the gross enrollment rate of higher education has increased significantly; Thirdly, the combination of education and industry is closer, and it is an important strategic task to train more applied undergraduate talents for China's industrial transformation period. The School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing Union University has achieved remarkable results by reasonably designing the training scheme and promoting the training of talents.

With the new trend of higher education development, under the background of the transformation of higher education in China from "elite education" to "mass education", the traditional talent training mode in general engineering colleges is facing severe challenges. School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing Union University (hereinafter referred to as "our school") embodies a new concept in the design of talent training scheme, changes the traditional teaching mode of "knowledge-oriented and teacher-centered" in the past, and explores a new teaching mode of "student-centered and ability-output-oriented". Promote the implementation of education and teaching reform goals with engineering education certification, implement the design and formulation of training programs, and innovate talent training models.

First, the general idea of training scheme design

To cultivate engineering application-oriented talents with international standards, we must abide by the professional certification standards of engineering education based on washington accord, and take this standard as the design basis of the training scheme. Through professional certification, define the standards and basic requirements of engineering education, improve teaching conditions, and promote the construction of teachers and professional development; Promote the establishment of a scientific and standardized teaching quality management and monitoring system. Professional certification can promote the international exchange of higher engineering education and enhance the international competitiveness of engineering and technical personnel.

1. Requirements of professional certification standards for engineering education

Our college has four undergraduate majors: mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science and technology and automobile service engineering. In order to steadily improve the training level of applied talents in the college and adapt to the internationalization trend of engineer education, the college aims at passing the professional certification of engineering education for mechanical engineering specialty, and promotes the education and teaching reform of the whole college. To plan and implement the talent training process according to the engineering education certification standards is to abide by the general standards of engineering education certification and the supplementary standards of mechanical specialty. Taking mechanical engineering as an example, in the design of training scheme, we should not only consider the international standards of personnel training, but also consider the professional characteristics. Considering not only the subject knowledge system, but also the composition of students' ability; Considering not only the professional training objectives, but also the result orientation, insisting on the assessment of teaching process and learning effect, and paying more attention to learning effect; In the teaching process, we should not only consider theoretical education, but also pay attention to the cultivation of practical ability and the participation of industrial enterprises.

2. Overall design idea of training scheme

According to the requirements of "Engineering Education Certification Standard", the new training scheme sets up the curriculum system according to its own orientation, training objectives and school-running characteristics. In particular, according to the "Engineering Education Certification Standards-Supplementary Standards for Specialty", the basic requirements are put forward for six courses: Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Engineering Foundation, Specialty Foundation, Specialty, Practice Link and Graduation Design (Thesis). On the basis of classification, engineering foundation and professional foundation account for at least 30% of the total credits, professional courses account for at least 10% of the total credits, and pure centralized practice links account for nearly 30% of the total credits. According to the standard requirements, the courses that are not set in the original training plan but need to be set according to the certification standards are supplemented. The curriculum system framework of the 20 15 version of the training program is shown in the following figure.

Second, the combination of production and learning promotes the cultivation of practical ability.

1. Expand cooperation between industry and university.

Based on the requirement of improving students' practical ability, expand the cooperation between industry and university. The key to realize the combination of production and learning is the construction of off-campus cooperation base. Without a long-term and stable off-campus practice base for students, the cooperation between industry and learning is passive water, let alone the cultivation of applied talents. Based on the transformation and upgrading of Beijing's industrial structure, our college has developed and established new college-level and school-level off-campus talent training bases on the basis of the existing 1 municipal off-campus talent training bases and four school-level off-campus talent training bases, and established order classes in cooperation with SMC (China) Co., Ltd. and Beijing Metro to train practical talents by order training. Constantly broaden the all-round functions of the existing off-campus talent training base in practice teaching, student competition, teaching resource construction, cooperative research and development, employment and so on. Expand the achievements of cooperation between industry and university. All the off-campus concentrated practice links are carried out in enterprises. In addition to some course experiments, in-school curriculum practice generally adopts project-based teaching method to establish a practical course project library, and the project content is mostly transformed from enterprise projects.

2. Curriculum resources construction

Focusing on the adjustment and upgrading of Beijing's industrial structure, our institute cooperates closely with SMC (China) Co., Ltd. and other enterprises. In addition to adopting a large number of enterprise cases in concentrated practice, the teaching content of professional core courses has been further optimized, and professional core courses are encouraged to be completed by industry famous teachers and professional teachers. The construction of supporting teaching materials for core courses and the compilation of characteristic teaching materials for industry-university cooperation aim at the cultivation of applied talents, and reflect the application and practicability in the teaching materials, which is conducive to the implementation of "project and behavior-oriented" teaching methods, in-depth excavation of practical engineering cases of enterprises, and the construction of professional core courses and curriculum design practice project library.

Thirdly, the implementation guarantee of OBE training program.

OBE is an engineering education model based on learning results. Conceptually, OBE is a "student-oriented" educational concept. In practice, OBE is a training model that focuses on what students can get and do after education. In terms of methods, OBE requires all educational activities, educational processes and curriculum design to focus on achieving the expected learning effect. OBE pays attention to the cultivation of professional talents. According to Taylor's curriculum theory, OBE includes four stages. First, choose the educational objectives, focusing on the professional orientation and characteristics. It is necessary to establish professional training standards, refine the knowledge and ability that professional students must have as much as possible, and evaluate them at the same time. Knowledge and ability should be expressed through students' presentation. Second, design education experience, focusing on the design of professional training programs. In order to achieve the learning results of students stipulated in the professional training standards, we should ensure that the learning results stipulated in the professional training standards are clearly implemented, that is, the traceability of learning objectives. The third is to organize educational experience and focus on exploring the specific implementation means of reforming teaching, learning and examination. Each teaching link has a clear task of cultivating knowledge and ability. Teaching reform and innovation are based on the realization of training goals, and various teaching methods can be used to achieve different goals. Fourth, the evaluation of education plan, focusing on the evaluation and continuous improvement of teaching process and teaching effect. It is necessary to combine process assessment with summative assessment, innovate assessment forms, increase the proportion of practical content in assessment, make students clear their goals and promote self-cultivation. This paper summarizes some exploration and practical work done by the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing Union University in constructing an application-oriented talent training model with international vision to meet the needs of society around the adjustment of industrial orientation and the change of student source structure in Beijing. Focusing on the certification standard of engineering education, we should cultivate engineering application-oriented talents with international essence, and make beneficial attempts in the overall design of training scheme, micro-curriculum, security system and so on. Mechanical specialty has changed from traditional manufacturing process to innovation and creation, and from production process to productive service, aiming at cultivating advanced applied talents in electromechanical, automobile industry and high-tech equipment service industry, and has achieved remarkable results.
