Customarily, Oriental martial arts are a unique style of martial arts sports forms represented by East Asian martial arts, most of them are rooted in their own traditional cultures, and they are an integral part of the traditional culture of the East.

In a complete sense, the traditional region of Oriental martial arts includes East Asia (China), Northeast Asia (Korean Peninsula and Japan), Southeast Asia (Malay, Indonesia, etc.), South Asia (Thailand, India, etc.) and the Arab region.
