2008 Summer Internship Report

Time: July 28th, 2008? Where to? August 2008

Location: * * Printing House

Although the short half-month internship ended, the whole process really benefited me a lot. The dribs and drabs in this short time are still dripping in my eyes. I know this experience will have great help and influence on my life. Someone once said to me: When the opportunity comes, we must seize it. In retrospect, it was only an accident that I was lucky enough to enter this state-owned enterprise for an internship.

In this short half a month, I have gained a lot: I have learned a lot about printing and a lot of printing vocabulary that I have never heard before. For example, plate making (according to the process of copying the manuscript to the printing plate), direct plate making (directly outputting the typeset digital page file from the host computer to the laser plate making machine, eliminating the production of negative film), image plate making (collectively referred to as manual, lighting and electronic plate making methods to copy the original image), and computer-to-plate (with the further development of printing technology, not only the manuscript can be directly made, but also the direct interface between the computer publishing system and the printing machine can be realized. From manuscript to printing in one step), lithography (printing method using lithography), offset printing (printing method of printing pictures and texts on a printing plate on an intermediate carrier, a blanket cylinder, and then transferring them to a substrate), offset printing machine (lithographic printing machine in which a printing plate transfers pictures and texts to the substrate for printing through a blanket transfer cylinder according to the indirect printing principle), and positive printing (in black-and-white and color reproduction, Images with the same tone and gray tone as the copied object), negative images (in black-and-white and color reproduction, images with the opposite tone and gray tone to the copied object), color separation (the process of decomposing a color manuscript into a monochrome version) and other professional terms in the printing industry.

In addition, I also learned about the printing process of the printing factory. Printing is generally divided into pre-printing, in-printing and post-printing. Prepress refers to prepress work, which generally refers to photography, design, production, typesetting, production and proofing. ? Printing refers to the work in the middle stage of printing, the process of printing and sorting out the finished products with a printing machine; ? Post-printing refers to the post-printing work, which generally refers to the post-processing of printed matter, including cutting, laminating, die-cutting, bagging, mounting and UV glazing. ? The requirements of specific products are different, and the required processes are different. So the process will be different. ? Generally speaking: the simpler things, the smaller the process and the shorter the time. ? The process is simpler and there are relatively few processes, so the delivery time is shorter.

Under the guidance of the teacher, I probably understood the working principles of offset press, paper cutter and binding machine, and also learned to operate the paper cutter. During the whole internship, the master patiently explained the problems and questions to me, which enriched my professional knowledge about the printing industry and made me understand the whole process of printing, so as to know how a newspaper, a magazine and a book changed from paper to newspapers, magazines and books that we contact and read every day, and passed on information and spread knowledge for us. Knowing this process is not easy, which makes me realize the importance of printing as one of the four great inventions.

I really benefited a lot from my internship in a printing factory. I really appreciate the leadership of * * printing factory, which gave me this precious opportunity to contact the printing industry. At the same time, I also want to thank those masters who patiently taught me printing knowledge, and they unveiled the mysterious veil of printing industry for me.

Time: August 200910-September 18?

Venue: Jiangxi Red Pepper Advertising Printing Factory

I feel very honored to have the opportunity to practice in a printing factory this time. Although it's only been more than a month, during this time, I have a perceptual knowledge of some common theoretical things and feel that I have benefited a lot. ? ?

The following are some summaries and experiences during my internship. I hope to learn from my own work and communication with customers in the future. ? ?

First,? What is the overall scale level of the factory?

Red pepper printing factory is located in Nanchang, Jiangxi, covering an area of 2,460 square meters and employing more than 400 people. After nearly ten years of manufacturing history, he has developed into a professional printing expert and is also famous in the developed manufacturing areas of Nanchang. ? Walking into the factory, I saw a clean environment and orderly working procedures. Although it is a domestic manufacturer, when we go to the workshop and see the advanced assembly lines and skilled technical level, we will fully feel the modern management. As a manufacturer of printing products, some problems are inevitable, such as the flying of paper scraps, the noise of machines, and the smell of glue and paint mixed together, but the factory has tried to minimize them. Walking in the workshop, it seems that the serious problems faced by most printing plants are not much trouble in our factory, but those management and efficiency attract most visitors. ?

The factory has its own timetable and will strictly abide by it. Even during lunch break, every worker will clean up his area in order, which is one of the reasons why the factory can keep clean. On the issue of dining, the factory also has its own characteristics. That is, from the top to the ordinary workers, the meals they eat are the same, without any specialization. ? ?

Second,? Learning process? ?

The following points are the main knowledge I learned during my internship in the factory and some experience I got from my work. ?

(1) paper selection?

Most of the paper commonly used in the factory is imported from abroad, which is why our quotation is higher than that of the same manufacturer in China-it is exactly "a penny for a penny". MDF paper is also one of the commonly used materials. MDF can also be used in many products of our company. Can be recommended to some customers who want to save costs. A certain amount of these conventional papers are kept in the warehouse, and the others are reserved for use. Generally speaking, however, conventional paper is recommended as much as possible (unless the products ordered by customers are large enough, the factory can purchase other expensive paper), which will be helpful to the processing technology, production cycle and growth cost of the factory. ?

(2) Processing

The machines used in the factory are all advanced, generally speaking, they are all automatically operated, such as CNC machine tools, vertical axis machine tools and so on. So as long as the operation is proper and the personnel arrangement is reasonable, it can generally produce higher efficiency (generally speaking, skilled labor is needed). Although the factory can produce most paper products, in the process of communicating with customers in the future, we should try our best to meet the requirements of customers and consider them from the standpoint of the factory. For example, you can recommend some samples with the same appearance, but simple practice and clear structure to customers. This can not only reduce the cost for the factory, but also improve the efficiency. ? When an order is completed, the factory will arrange every link in place. Therefore, when confirming the order with the customer, we must completely confirm each demand. Some customers are not sure about the paint after finishing the white clothes. If this is put aside, not only will the product be easily deformed, but it will also affect the order schedule and bring unnecessary trouble to the factory. ?

(3) Laser and screen printing?

At present, the maximum laser size in the factory is 320×320mm, and the minimum is 1.5× 1.5mm? Laser can be colored, the most common is black, and black can make the laser pattern clearer. However, customers are generally not advised to color after laser, which will increase the cost. The cost of laser depends on the complexity of laser pattern. Generally speaking, it is 1 yuan per product. Screen printing is also a common method, but its requirement is that the surface of screen printing should be smooth. If laser or screen printing is needed, customers will be asked to provide pictures, preferably electronic documents. ?

(4) packaging

Packaging is the last process before the finished product is completed, and it is also an important part of a product. The packaging process includes the simple assembly of products, the assembly of hemming, flannel and hardware, the production of packaging materials, the quality inspection of the previous process of products and the packaging of products. Quality is the guarantee of quality. Therefore, our factory also has strict quality control. Generally, there are two or three quality inspectors on a packaging assembly line to carry out strict product inspection. From dust removal, quality inspection to final packaging, every detail will have strict operating standards of workers. For some export customers, the product will be more critical, but the factory will meet these requirements. This is why the quality of our products is guaranteed, and there are few quality defects in our products. And if it is also a domestic order, there will often be some unruly customers who will pick some small "flaws" without quality problems. For these problems, I think it is not only necessary to explain to customers that some of them are due to the problems of paper products themselves, but also to let them know that the quality control requirements of our factory have reached the domestic advanced level, and many quality problems are likely to be caused by collisions and barbaric transportation during transportation. Of course, in order to avoid damage during transportation, in addition to using some conventional packaging materials (cartons, cartons, gift boxes, sponges, styrofoam, pearl cotton)?

(5) Other accessories?

Hardware is a common accessory. So for some conventional hardware, such as some hinges, copper buttons, copper feet and so on. The factory will purchase a certain quantity for inventory. In addition, like some pen hardware, the factory itself has the manufacturing ability, and many of them can be done independently. In addition, like EVA, it needs to be purchased separately. ?

Third, experience?

This internship, let me know the scale level of the factory, production process and the production of some conventional products, I believe it will be of great help to the future business operation. In addition, I feel that on the one hand, the factory supplies us, on the other hand, we should actively cooperate with the factory to do a good job of both sides. At the same time, I will continue to learn the knowledge of products and serve customers well. Only when the overall business level of the company is improved can we create good performance.
