Etymology of music learning

Korean scholars wrote the book "Norms of Music Learning" in Chinese in 1493, and Zhu Zaiyu also adopted this word in "A New Theory of Music Learning" (1603) more than one hundred years later. The norms of music research involve North Korean musical instruments, musical instruments and costumes. The new theory of music learning involves China's music rules, tunes, scores, music sounds, music and dance, music movements, musical instruments, musicians, musicians and so on. These two books are about the meaning of "learning to be happy" in ancient times. Since Xiao published the book General Music in 1927, many musicians have equated the content of music learning with western basic music theories, such as Ying Shangneng's Outline of Music Learning (1935) and Zheng Zhi's Outline of Music Learning (1936). Although the "theory of music" in ancient China contains music common sense and technical theory, it ignores a large number of macro-expositions made by ancient sages on music and thinks that the theory of music is only "basically similar to the modern' basic theory of music'". This view, which is popular in China's music industry at present, is neither in line with China's traditional concept of music theory nor with the academic trend of the world of music science with a history of more than a century. The descendants of the Chinese nation should inherit the excellent traditions of the sages, conform to the academic trend of world musicology, not stick to biased views, and regard the macro-theory of music as an important part of "music learning".
