By the Tang Dynasty, advanced technology was available, and superb pottery carvings and exquisite clay appeared, which was the first heyday of ancient Qinzhou pottery industry. In Xinping Village, east of Qinzhou City, the epitaph of Ningdaowu in Tang Dynasty was found, which is the earliest record of the embryonic form of Ni Xing pottery.
Ni Xing pottery is famous in the world, not only because of the purity of materials, but also because of the color of kiln change. It can be made of red mud and white mud on both sides of the Qin River, without any glaze, and can present various colors after being molded and fired in a kiln. After the transformation of the kiln, the surface of the newly fired Ni Xing pottery products still retains the primary colors of vermilion or purplish red. After polishing off the surface layer, it is found that it is colorful and colorful, with purple, tiger, sky blue, sky spot, gold, chestnut, metal ash and other colors.
