How to take apart the Volkswagen key to change the battery

The first step

Step 2

We need to use a screwdriver that fits the gap opening to gently pry open the key's gap and open the key shell. Be careful not to use too much force so as not to damage the housing. Step 3

We need to gently remove the old battery, taking care not to damage the surrounding circuit board. Then, place the new battery inside the key, paying attention to the correct placement of the positive and negative terminals. Finally, reattach the case, making sure that the case is in good contact with the circuit board.
