What is refrigerant R22

R22 is a member of the Fluorocarbon family of hydrochlorofluorocarbons.

Definition of Freon, Freon is a general term for halogenated derivatives of saturated hydrocarbons (hydrocarbons), a class of refrigerants that appeared in the thirties of this century along with the development of the chemical industry, and its emergence solved the refrigeration and air-conditioning world's quest for refrigerants. From the definition of Freon, it can be seen that what people now call non-Freon R134a, R410A and R407C are actually Freon.

The difference between r22 refrigerant and R410 refrigerant

One, the characteristics of different

1, r22 refrigerant: refrigerant R22 cylinders are pressurized containers, storage should be away from fire, heat, avoid direct sunlight exposure, usually stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouses; handling should be gently loaded and unloaded, to prevent damage to cylinders and valves and other accessories.

2, R410 refrigerant: does not destroy the ozone layer. Its molecular formula does not contain chlorine, so its ozone layer depletion potential (ODP) is 0. Global Warming Potential (GWP) is less than 0.2.

Two, the role of the different

1, r22 refrigerant: used in reciprocating compressors, as industrial, commercial, family air conditioning system refrigerant. Can be used for insecticides and spray paint aerosol injection agent, can also be used for the production of fire extinguishing agent 1211; is the production of a variety of fluorine-containing polymer compounds of the basic raw materials.

2, R410 refrigerant: can reduce the destruction of the ozone layer. In addition, the use of new refrigerant air conditioning in the performance will have some improvement. R410A is internationally recognized as the most suitable refrigerant used to replace R22, and in Europe and the United States, Japan and other countries to be popularized.
