Brief introduction of Yongchun paper weaving painting

Paper-woven painting originated in Yongchun County, Fujian Province, and belongs to the traditional handicraft of Han nationality. It is also a hazy work of art painted, cut, woven, colored and mounted on rice paper. It is characterized by interwoven paper marks, clear latitude and longitude, elegant colors and hazy pictures. The contents include Fu Lu Shou Xing, Happy Everyone, Aerial Crane, Shuangfeng Peony and Yuanyang Map. Locals often decorate the hall with this paper-woven painting when celebrating birthdays and weddings. According to people's psychological demand for works of art in the new era, the representative works of new products include Double Cats, Eighteen Scenes of Quanzhou, Hundred Mao Zedong, Contemporary Paper-woven 100-meter Great Wall, Hundred-meter Hundred Tigers Paper-woven Painting and so on. 12011June14th, Yongchun paper-woven painting was approved by the State Council and included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
