When is the festival for the elderly?
/kloc-The Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly, which came into effect in July/3, stipulates that "the ninth day of the ninth lunar month is the festival for the elderly every year", and the 20 13 Double Ninth Festival (10/3) will be the first legal festival for the elderly in China. Speaking of the Double Ninth Festival, perhaps the most widely known is Wang Wei's poem: "Being a stranger in a foreign land, I miss my relatives twice during the festival."
In fact, in 1989, China officially designated the ninth day of the ninth lunar month as "Chinese Elderly Day". In 1999, Chongyang respected the elderly, and of course we should also respect our parents. With the vigorous promotion of the country, the Double Ninth Festival has attracted more and more attention from the whole society.
