What does the automatic driver assistance system mean?

Automatic driving assistance technology (ADAS) uses various sensors installed in the car to perceive the surrounding environment at any time during driving, collect data, identify, detect and track static and dynamic objects, and make systematic calculation and analysis with the map data of navigator, so that drivers can realize the possible dangers in advance and effectively improve driving comfort and safety. Driving assistance technology is at the level of L 1 and L2. At the L 1 stage, the vehicle first intervenes in one of the braking and steering control, sharing the driver's work, mainly including adaptive cruise (ACC), lane keeping assist (LKA), automatic emergency braking (AEB) and other functions. In L2 stage, the vehicle first takes over multiple vertical and horizontal controls, and the driving operation is completed by the system, but the driver's attention should still be kept in the driving state, so as to take over the vehicle at any time.
