2. Pull the float down for a certain distance (it needs to exceed the length of the auxiliary line to ensure that the double hook is off the bottom), and gradually reduce the weight of the lead skin until the top of the float is flush with the water surface again. Remember that lead skin needs to be cut gradually and slowly, too many floats will be exposed to water.

Third, hang the bait into the water and adjust the position of the float until the float reveals the number of eyes you want to catch.
