Where is the "Green Hills" mentioned in the Classic of Mountains and Seas?

The "Green Mound" mentioned in the Classic of Mountains and Seas is now located near Wuyi Mountain. Qingqiu is mentioned in many ancient Chinese books, but its exact location varies. Huxian is also mentioned in Tang Dynasty documents as a place where foxes live, also near Heze, Shandong Province.

The location of Qingqiu in the Shanhaijing is more specific and convincing. The book reads, "And three hundred miles to the east, it is said to be the mountain of Qingqiu." Here "three hundred miles east" means three hundred miles east of Mount Kishan. Kishan is very familiar to modern people. It is located in today's Guangdong Province. Ancient geographic surveys were not very accurate and could only estimate the distance. Then, the closest place three hundred miles east of Kishan was Wuyi Mountain.

From this, we can infer that Mount Qingqiu is probably Mount Wuyi. Since experts have verified the true location of Qingqiu based on the Shanhaijing, is it true that there are nine-tailed foxes in Qingqiu? There are naturally no nine-tailed foxes in Wuyi Mountain today, and there are no biological samples of nine-tailed foxes in modern times.
