My favorite dish: Guobaorou

The most worthy thing for me to show off after coming back this year is that I finally mastered the method of Guobaorou. Speaking of Guobao Pork, almost everyone in the Northeast knows about it. But friends from other places may be confused and don’t know what it is. This dish can be said to be quite popular in Northeast China, a bit similar to Beijing’s fish-flavored shredded pork.

When I was a kid, during Chinese New Year and festivals, if there was Guobao Pork, the meal would definitely be delicious; when I was in a restaurant, if I could only order one dish, it would definitely be Guobao Pork. I just said that when I went home on New Year's Day this year, I went to my aunt's house for dinner. The hotpot pork made by my aunt left a deep impression on my girlfriend. When I come abroad, it is definitely unrealistic to go to restaurants to eat. One is expensive, and the other is that you can't meet the chefs in Northeast China. As the saying goes, it is better to seek help from others than to seek yourself, so I thought about making it myself. Of course, the first attempt was unsuccessful, but when I returned to China, I consulted an expert for advice (my uncle, he was doing it while I was watching), and after I came back, I did it again. Thank God, I finally made it, and it was still possible. Not an ordinary success, it was quite a success.

Some people say that people who cook delicious food in the world must be greedy cats, and they think it is not unreasonable. Only those who love to eat like to think about cooking by themselves. I am indeed very greedy, but being greedy is not a sin. Who told us to do it ourselves?
