Hello warriors, I'm in charge of the 2017 DNF Spring Festival wallpaper drawing of the "Cheng Long! "!

Welcome to the Chinese festival, to Salia clothing design into "fantasy style + Chinese style" for the intention of drawing wallpaper.

In order to welcome the biggest festival in China, we decided to draw the New Year wallpaper with the overall direction of designing new costumes for Sailor Moon in "Fantasy Style + Chinese Style".

In the initial stage, we mainly drew a rough idea of what we had in mind.

At this point, the classic lion dance mask from Chinese tradition also came to mind.

How about a playful lion dance mask for Selia?

Based on the first draft, the sketch was simply colored.

With the features of Cylia's costume preserved, we further began the costume design.

Initially, we actually did a version that retained the green color, but ultimately decided to go with red.

After the first draft was finalized, the next step was refinement.

During the refinement work, some subtle changes were made to Selia's expression.

During the refinement process, we also discovered something new:

Although the bit about wearing a lion dance mask was particularly gorgeous, the upper half of the main character, Selia, was darkened with it.

So in the end, we took off the big lion's head and redesigned a version of the fluttering brocade as decoration.

The finalized version probably looked like this, and with this version as a base, the refinements began further.

Due to time constraints, it needed to be done as soon as possible, and although I personally have a lot of regrets, this Chinese New Year wallpaper drawing was a lot of fun ^ ^!

Hello warriors!

I am "Sunny" who is responsible for editing the 2017 DNF Spring Festival wallpaper.

My main job is to utilize the finished version of the original artwork and make it more suitable for the wallpaper style.

This time, I was responsible for optimizing the overall tone and atmosphere of the wallpaper in conjunction with Sylia's traditional costume original artwork, ultimately presenting the 2017 DNF Spring Festival wallpaper!

Preparation stage, based on Sylia's original painting pattern, trying to match different background colors.

After selecting the color, the next step is to adjust the background color, while also adding a variety of smoke decorative effects.

After determining the main direction of the light, the next step was to refine the adjustment of the light and dark parts.

In addition, this stage also added some additional wallpaper for the effect of flying flowers.

To make the dates more visible, I added some shadows, and then it was time to enter the dates.

My main job was to work with the original artists and tweak and refine their great work into wallpapers.

Thanks to the original artist's friends, every time to bring me such beautiful original paintings :)
