Traditional appendectomy scar
Appendicitis can be divided into simple, suppurative, perforated and periappendiceal abscess according to the condition. However, severe appendicitis will also take the incision on the outer edge of rectus abdominis, and the length may be longer, at least 3cm or more. Scar depends on the length of the incision, as well as the patient's physical condition (whether it is scar constitution) and wound healing (whether it is infected or not, primary healing).
