Baoshan District is located in the north of Shanghai and is divided into two parts: land and island. On land, it is bordered by the Yangtze River in the northeast, Huangpu River in the east, Yangpu, Hongkou, Zhabei and Putuo in the south, Jiading District in the west, Taicang City in Jiangsu Province in the northwest corner, and divided into north and south by Zoroja Lake. Wusong Bridge, Ruochuan Bridge, Jiangyang Bridge and Tangqiao span it. In the east of Baoshan New Town, the commercial structure is becoming more and more reasonable and the urban functions are perfect. Wusong Fisherman's Wharf stands by the river, and the theme square built with the opening of Shanghai as the background is quite distinctive. Baoshan Xicheng District is a new urban area that Baoshan focuses on in order to adapt to new development and expand urban functions, and it is becoming another highlight of urban construction in Baoshan District.
