What is the topology of traditional Ethernet?
Traditional Ethernet topologies include bus topology, star topology, ring topology and tree topology.
1. bus topology: all nodes are connected to a cable, and this cable becomes a bus;
2. Star topology: each node in the network is connected to a central node in a point-to-point manner, and the central node transmits information to the destination node;
3. Ring topology: network access devices access the network through repeaters, and the data sent by one repeater can only be received and forwarded by another repeater, and all repeaters and their physical lines form a ring network system;
4. Tree topology: A LAN topology similar to bus topology. A tree network can contain branches, and each branch can contain multiple nodes.
