What is the processing method of cinnabar?
This product is a sulfide mineral, cinnabar, which mainly contains mercury sulfide.
job operation
First, the network system
Absorb iron filings with magnets (Pharmacopoeia 85).
Second, cutting
Grind into fine powder, or fly dry with water (Pharmacopoeia 85).
Third, baking.
Licorice system
Take raw sand and grind it, soak it in licorice field, wash it three times (with fresh licorice water each time), dry it, put it in a magnetic tank and grind it into fine powder, add clean water for a week (change water every day), remove impurities, remove cinnabar and greasy, remove water and dry it in the sun, with licorice per cinnabar 100kg (integration).
Modern research
1. According to the literature, the sublimation temperature of cinnabar (Hgs) was 580℃, while the sterilization test temperature was 97℃ and 120℃, respectively, which did not reach the sublimation point. Experiments show that cinnabar is really stable and not easy to decompose, which is consistent with the literature records. Experiments show that Chinese patent medicines containing cinnabar can be sterilized by 98- 1 10 degree moist heat sterilization method, and the sterilization effect can be achieved without causing the change or decomposition of the crystal structure of HgS (Xu: Research on Chinese patent medicines, (12): 18,198/kloc).
2. Through the study of harmful mercury in different processing technologies of cinnabar and Chinese patent medicine with cinnabar coat, it is proved that the processing of cinnabar in ancient times is scientific. The experimental results show that it is reasonable for ancient methods and pharmacopoeia to require "removing iron filings with magnets first", "removing iron filings with magnets" and adopting "jade hammer" and "porcelain bowl fine grinding" to avoid the contact between grinding milk and metal utensils. It is appropriate to light cinnabar and cinnabar clothes in bamboo cans, and to light them in stainless steel cans and bamboo cans. There is no significant difference in the content of free mercury in the finished products. The experimental results show that the water flying method is better than the cinnabar method. After water flies, cinnabar is required to be "dried" in ancient times and pharmacopoeia. From the experimental results, the content of free mercury in dried cinnabar below 60℃ is lower than that in dried cinnabar (Zhou et al.: Research on Chinese Patent Medicine, (10): 16, 1984).
3. At present, the processing methods of cinnabar are different in pharmaceutical factories around the country. The author analyzed five different processing methods, namely, water flying method, wet grinding method, pulverizer grinding method, three times grinding Shui Piao method and three times grinding boiling water bleaching method. The results show that the content of free mercury and soluble mercury salt in cinnabar processed by water flying method is the lowest. In addition, the water extract and acid extract of cinnabar were analyzed, and the results showed that the content of toxic mercury extracted from cinnabar with dilute acid solution was high (advanced: Chinese patent medicine research, (7): 20, 1985).
