Baoding special food

Baoding is the birthplace of China's ninth largest cuisine "Ji Cuisine". The history of Baoding diet was confirmed by cereal tools, cooked pottery, Shang Dynasty Jue and Zhongshan mutton soup at that time. Donkey sandwich

Donkey fire is a traditional snack, which is to put the cooked donkey meat into the fire to eat. Donkey fire originated in Caohe Town, Xushui District, Baoding City, and is widely popular in Baoding and even in North China. Baiyunzhang steamed bun

Baiyunzhang steamed stuffed bun is one of Baoding's specialties. The beef and mutton it chooses must be fresh and tender, and mutton with moderate fat and thin should be specially selected, sesame oil should be purchased at a fixed point, and steamed stuffed bun skin should be made of high-quality flour and instant noodles. The steamed stuffed bun is thin in skin, narrow in edge, big in stuffing, oily and bell-shaped, and the stuffing can be seen through the skin. Dacige You Xiang

Dacige sesame oil has a long history. According to records, it began in the third year of Baoqing in the Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 1227) and originated from the sesame oil workshop in Dacige Buddhist Temple. It has been made by traditional small grinding technology for 800 years. [62]
