Enjoy Mulan after watching cartoons.

In English class on Friday, the teacher showed us the Disney cartoon Mulan. I've always wanted to watch this film, but I haven't had time to watch it.

This is a well-known story in ancient China. Mulan disguised herself as a man and joined the army as her father, and performed an epic story.

Mulan in this film is witty and brave, and has her own ideas. In order to win honor for her family and marry a rich and powerful man, she tried her best to restrain her personality, but in the end she failed. She is in pain and sad. From the performance of Mulan's character, we can see that she has a combination of Chinese and western characters. Eastern filial piety, western self-personality.

In the scene, we saw the use of China culture, such as dragon, Great Wall, architecture, sword, China Kung Fu, clan system and so on. China culture is reflected everywhere. Although the background and scenes are largely set in China, in the characterization, we see more publicity, humor and democracy of the West, forming an excellent combination of Chinese and Western.

This film is also very instructive. We saw Mulan representing her father's filial piety in the army, unwilling to lag behind and working hard towards the goal, bravely and tactfully fighting against Xiongnu. She has a beautiful character, which makes people admire and move.

There is a role in the film that can't be ignored, that is, the dragon full of humor-Mushu. Dragon is the symbol of China, and the arrangement of Mushu accords with the cultural characteristics of China. Mushu's appearance added spice to the whole movie and added a lot of joy. He has an exaggerated personality, which breaks through the traditional serious situation in China.

I wonder why we can't make a good cartoon of China's traditional story ourselves, but Americans can do it so well. It seems that the animators in China lack imagination and creativity!

After watching English subtitles and English soundtrack, I want to see Chinese dubbing, because there are still some places I don't understand. China's dubbing is still very good.
