What's the difference between sea salt and salt?

The appearance is different. Ordinary salt is generally pure white with fine particles, while sea salt has many colors, such as white and gray, which are rough and clear in granularity.

Different ingredients. Sea salt is extracted naturally, and many trace elements, such as phosphorus, iron and some heavy metal elements, are retained, with high sodium content, while ordinary salt is processed to remove most trace minerals and elements, with less nutrients.

It tastes different. Ordinary salt tastes ordinary, only salty, while sea salt tastes unique, salty with umami flavor, rich aftertaste and good taste.

The price is different. Sea salt is more complicated to collect and make, with high cost, high nutrient content, salty taste and higher price than ordinary salt.
