China Yubifang Brush Museum held a grand opening ceremony in Zhoukou on 10/26, and it was fully opened to the public on 2010/65438. The ceremony was presided over by Li, vice mayor of Zhoukou City, and Mu Renxian, vice president of China Small and Medium-sized City Development Research Association, deputy secretary general of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People's Congress and chairman of Zhoukou City, unveiled the museum. Mei Baoju, member of the Standing Committee of Zhoukou Municipal Committee and Minister of Propaganda, delivered a speech. Liu Jianfei, the legal person of Henan Yubifang Culture and Art Co., Ltd., the general manager of Henan Ruyang Liubi Industry Development Co., Ltd. and the curator of China Yubifang Brush Museum, introduced the basic situation of the museum. The Propaganda Department of Henan Provincial Party Committee, the Leading Group for Strong Cultural Province, China Calligraphers Association, China Academy of Art, Beijing Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute, Taiwan Affairs Office of Neijiang City, Sichuan Suining Artists Association, Sichuan Nanchong Newspaper and other units sent congratulatory letters for the opening of the museum.

China Yubifang brush originated from the Liu family in the Imperial Palace of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of more than 2,000 years. In order to make the unique writing skills of Yubifang brush immortal and let the world know more about the historical origin of the synchronization of brush culture and calligraphy and painting art, China Yubifang Brush Museum, which was built by Henan Ruyang Liubi Industry Development Co., Ltd., is a key project of Zhoukou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to implement cultural livelihood projects and accelerate the construction of a strong economic and cultural city. Investment and construction began on June 20 10. Ding Qian, director of China Calligraphy Association, wrote the name of the museum. The exhibition hall is divided into three exhibition areas: one is to show the origin history of Chinese brush, the other is the historical origin and cultural celebrities of Yubifang brush, and the third is the manufacturing technology of Yubifang brush. The museum has 6,300 classified collections, including 8 ancient sites, 3 ancient paintings/kloc-0, 360 pen-making tools, 3,200 ancient and modern celebrity calligraphy and painting, and 2,300 ancient and modern brushes. From one side, it shows the profound history of China Yubifang brush culture, and also shows the fruitful achievements of our city in accelerating the construction of a strong city with cultural resources.

In her speech, Mei Baoju expressed warm congratulations on the opening of Yubifang Brush Museum on behalf of Zhoukou Municipal Committee, Municipal People's Congress, Municipal Government and CPPCC. She said that the writing brush of Yubifang has a long history and profound cultural heritage. It began in Qin and Han Dynasties and flourished in modern times. In the history of pen-making for more than 2,000 years, it is unique and enduring, leaving indelible historical contributions to the culture of the Central Plains and Chinese civilization. Since the reform and opening-up, the inheritor of Yubifang brush has boldly innovated and developed on the basis of inheriting the traditional pen-making technology, stepped out of a rural workshop, integrated into the market economy, and became an emerging modern enterprise, and won honorary titles such as "Time-honored Brand of China", "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Henan Province" and "Famous Brand of Henan Province", which has made great contributions to inheriting and developing the traditional culture of China, revitalizing the brush industry and building a strong cultural city of Zhoukou. The construction of Yubifang Brush Museum is an important symbol of Zhoukou culture construction, and it is also a fruitful achievement of building a strong cultural city. It is hoped that Zhoukou Yubifang Brush Museum will strive to build a domestic first-class research and development center for brush culture protection, Zhoukou youth painting and calligraphy education base, painter creation base, popular science education base, civilized exhibition window and painting and calligraphy art exchange platform, and play a greater role in the construction of Zhoukou city with strong culture.
