Introduction to traditional ink painting

A Chinese painting. Refers to a painting made of pure ink and wash. There are three basic elements: simplicity, symbolism and nature. Legend has it that it began in the Tang Dynasty, became in the Five Dynasties, flourished in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and continued to develop in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern times.
