What materials are better for building sheep houses, walls and ceilings in rural areas?

There are many materials that can be used as the roof of a sheephouse. I know wheat straw, rice straw, crop straw, dead branches, bamboo curtains, plastic films, asbestos tiles, pottery tiles, linoleum, color steel roofs and so on. We can choose the roof of the sheephouse according to its specific structure. It needs to be able to shelter from the wind, rain and sun, and it needs to be durable and low-cost. That's all that matters.

Wall material: the rural sheep shed should be strong to prevent losses caused by wind and snow blowing down or crushing. I built the fence with red bricks and sand and didn't paint it, because painting can't stand the damage of sheep. The whole sheepfold is surrounded on three sides and open on one side, which is conducive to ventilation. The southern region is suitable for raising sheep in high beds, mainly because of the humid weather and high temperature in the southern region. Raising sheep in a high bed should be ventilated on all sides and high from the ground. It not only solves the problem of heavy moisture, but also avoids rheumatism.

The detailed materials needed to build the plastic shed sheep shed are: masonry cement (or adobe), wood (bamboo) scaffolding, strong plastic film, air inlet, air outlet, door and so on. With these materials, we can build a sheep bed structure in a plastic shed: it is more durable than bamboo blocks, the gap between the blocks is 1.5cm, and the distance between the sheep bed and the trough is 25-30cm. Too high or too low will make it difficult for sheep to feed. According to the breed, feeding method and growth rate of sheep, there are generally 6544 sheep on average. For completely grazing sheep, an average of 0.8 ~ 1.2 square meters is also acceptable.

The equipment in the sheepfold is also very important. If you have economic strength, you can buy finished iron plates with holes and build iron sheep beds to give sheep a good and clean rest space. The top of the herringbone frame is a square steel beam, and then covered with colored steel tiles. The construction of this sheepfold is the same as building a house with colored steel tiles. The difference is that it is surrounded by colored steel tiles, which has poor thermal insulation.
