Remarks:

The kui pattern, a type of traditional decorative pattern, is a decoration on bronzes. Kui is the name of a mythical beast shaped like a dragon. It is said to be a dragon pattern and snail-bodied beast pattern. In Zhuangzi - Qiushui, it says: "Kui pities millipede, millipede pities snake, snake pities wind, wind pities eyes, eyes pities heart." Interpretation: "Kui, a one-legged beast also. ...... its shape like a cow, pale color without horns, a foot can walk, in and out of the water that is wind and rain, eyes such as the sun and moon, its voice like thunder, the name is kui."
