Traditional cheongsam for women in summer
When I was a teenager, I occasionally saw a woman wearing cheongsam on Shiban Street, my hometown in a remote mountainous area. The whole street was bright. Accompanied by the rhythmic sound of high-heeled shoes, the woman wearing cheongsam walk on by in the long alley, like a snow-white jasmine floating in the green stream. The slit of the cheongsam flashes, revealing slender legs and beautiful information. For me, who is used to seeing women in my hometown always wrapped in thick clothes, my heart was shaken and naturally aroused a kind of awakening of human nature. In retrospect, the tall and slender figure and graceful gait of the woman wearing cheongsam are still in sight.
It is said that cheongsam originated from Manchu flag dress, and it has been synchronized with Hanfu since the flag bearer entered the customs. The women's cheongsam in Manchu costumes, after modeling transformation, is not only loved by Han women, but also becomes a characteristic costume in China and enters the world fashion ranks. Zhang Ailing, a talented woman, said in her famous essay "Changing Clothes": "In China, since ancient times, women have been synonymous with' three locks of hair and two clothes'. There is a subtle difference between one-piece and two-piece packaging. There seems to be nothing unfair, but women in the 1920s tend to become more worried. At first, influenced by western culture, they were obsessed with the theory of equality between men and women, but the actual situation around them was far from ideal. In shame and indignation, they rejected everything feminine and wanted to kill women completely. Therefore, the earliest developed cheongsam is rigorous and square, with a Puritan style. " In Zhang Ailing's words: "What matters now is people, and the role of cheongsam is nothing more than faithfully hooking the outline of the human body." One of the most beautiful photos left by Zhang Ailing to future generations is a bust in cheongsam.
After the 1930s, the cheongsam was improved, breaking the Puritan style and looking better and better. When I was young, I read novels by writers such as Lu Xun, Mao Dun, Ba Jin, Yu Dafu, Xiao Hong, Zhang Ailing and Zhang Henshui. Many heroines wear cheongsam. I am fascinated by reading, and my mind often conjures up 10 thousand kinds of amorous feelings of the characters in the novel. Those women who wear brocade cheongsam often buckle a thin silk on the diagonal button, or insert a magnolia flower, leaning against the bar and smiling, graceful, full of endless elegance. Just like Zhou Xuan, a famous singer and Ruan, a famous movie star of that era, the photos of them wearing cheongsam still look so moving.
