Brief introduction of Changjiang Art Engineering Vocational College

Changjiang Art Engineering Vocational College is a private, non-profit full-time vocational school in colleges and universities, which is organized by Hubei Eighteen Artisans Culture Development Investment Co., Ltd. and put on record by the Ministry of Education.

The key disciplines of the school are traditional handicrafts and modern intelligent manufacturing services, and there are more than 40 majors in five major groups, including art engineering, Internet plus Internet of Things, new energy vehicles, economic management and health care.

The school is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, the first historical and cultural city in China, and is located in Jingzhou National Economic and Technological Development Zone. It covers an area of 1 10,000 mu, with a construction area of 654.38+10,000 square meters and total assets of10.30 billion yuan, of which the total value of experimental training facilities and equipment is more than 60 million yuan.

At present, there are nearly 10,000 students in school (September 2020), and there are 29 majors in 6 departments, including art engineering department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, nursing department, economic management department, public education department and ideological and political education department. There are more than 2 10 full-time teachers, including 40% professors, associate professors and teachers with master's degree or above, 20 masters of chutian skills and more than 30 masters of folk craft inheritance at or above the provincial level.

The school is the only vocational college with handicraft characteristics in China, one of the 28 vocational training institutions recognized by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and a demonstration base for productive protection of intangible cultural heritage in Hubei Province. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has a national-level Jingzhou traditional craft workstation on campus, and Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts and other 12 universities are the construction units.

As the development of the school is in line with the strategic plan of the State Council, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, to carry out the inheritance and development project of Chinese excellent traditional culture, in February of 20 17, the Jingzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to relocate the school as a whole to Jinan Cultural Tourism Zone, and allocated 1000 mu of educational land (the first batch of 600 mu). The school raised/kloc-0.20 billion yuan, adhering to the school-running philosophy of "artisan town, a non-legacy university", building a craftsman town, building a platform for attracting investment in cultural and creative industries, building a modern vocational college, and realizing the integrated development of education, culture and tourism.
