Why is the traditional society in China a family society?

Sociologically, compared with modern society, traditional society is an ethical society based on family control and its basic operating mechanism. Social control is basically dependent on family control, and in ancient China, families were based on families, and the head of the family or someone was in power.

The basic attributes of China's traditional society are: natural economy, bureaucratic authority, lack of social welfare, rural, mechanical unity, agriculture, folk belief and unified social form.
