At that time, Xiao's name was "uneven", which means "uneven". This is because the ancient flute was made up of many pipes (that is, "flute"). In order to make the sound different, the length of the pipe is also different, so it is called "uneven" There are two kinds of ancient flutes, the former is called "bottom flute" and the latter is called "Kong flute".

Zheng, also known as guzheng and, is still often used to play ancient silk stringed instruments in China. The famous guzheng songs include: Fishing Boat Singing Late, Mountain Flowing Water, Swimming in Western jackdaw in the West, Autumn Moon in the Han Palace, Rain in the Banana Window, etc.

China bamboo flute is one of the woodwind instruments commonly used in China traditional music, which is generally divided into Qu Di in the south, Bangdi in the north and alto flute in the middle. Generally, the range can reach more than two octaves. Most flutes are made of bamboo, but there are also flutes made of stone flutes, Yu Di and mahogany, as well as ancient bone flutes. But the best raw material for making flutes is bamboo, because bamboo flutes have better sound effect and lower production cost.

4. sheng

Sheng, an ancient reed instrument in China, is generally made of 36 bamboo tubes with different lengths, which are used for playing. It consists of three parts: a sheng spring, a sheng flute and a sheng barrel. The vibration of the sheng spring causes the air in the sheng flute to vibrate and produce sound. Bands often use 37-reed treble sheng. In traditional instrumental music and Kunqu opera, sheng is often used as the accompaniment of other wind instruments, such as flute and suona, and pure fourth or fifth harmony is added to the melody. In modern Chinese orchestras, sheng can play the role of melody or accompaniment.

Twenty-two pipes were unearthed in Mawangdui No.1 Han Tomb in Changsha, which were divided into two rows. It can be seen that they were relatively developed musical instruments in ancient times.

How to make bamboo musical instruments

There are many bamboo musical instruments. Here, taking the most common bamboo flute as an example, introduce the production method:

1. Select bamboo sections with less scars, about 45 to 70 cm, and cut off the selected sections with a saw. When sawing, be careful and cut slowly to avoid unnecessary damage and affect the quality of the flute.

2. Randomly select one end of the sawed bamboo section and mark it as A, and mark a point with a marker at the distance 10 cm from the bamboo section to point A, and mark it as "1 point"; Mark a point 2 cm away from "1 point" and mark it as "2 points"; Click here to mark the other three points in turn. The last point is marked as "5 o'clock". Mark another point 3 cm away from the "5 points".

3. Find a straight iron bar with a quarter radius of bamboo and sharpen one end. Heat the sharpened end with fire.

4. First, use the tip of the heated iron bar to pass through the bamboo, then punch holes in the drawing points of the bamboo, and repeat the punching until a satisfactory hole is obtained.

In this way, a simple bamboo flute is made. Although it is relatively simple to make, it can also play a lot of sounds!

6, pay attention to avoid burns when heating with fire, be sure to pay attention to the size of the hole when punching, and the size should not be too large.
