The difference between fermented rice cakes and trough cakes.

There is no difference between fermented rice cakes and trough cakes, they are both a kind of food.

Trough cakes, or "egg cakes", are traditional cakes in Tianjin and Beijing. It is called "trough cake" because it is baked with trough mold.

The cake is baked with simple materials, fresh eggs, sugar, refined flour, honey and other natural raw materials.
