Traditional Chinese medicine health story
In Taoism, the five internal organs are endowed with different functions by yin and yang: the liver is called Mu Mu, the lung is called Gong Jin, the spleen is called Huang Po, the heart is called prostitute, and the kidney is called baby.
Why is this distribution?
Let's talk about the characteristics of the five internal organs first. "Jiang Mumu" is equivalent to a woman, whose liver governs hair growth, just like a housewife who manages housework; "Gong Jin" is equivalent to a man with depressed lungs, just like a steady man with indomitable spirit at home; A "prostitute" is a beautiful girl with a lively and agile heart like a girl; "Baby" is innocent, full of yang, and needs careful care, similar to the image of kidney; The spleen governs the movement in four directions, can coordinate the balance of other viscera, and plays a mediating role, so it is called "yellow pearl" in the human body (the center of the spleen corresponds to yellow in five colors). "huangpo" is actually a matchmaker.
In human body, Huang Bei is the matchmaker between Jiang Mumu (liver) and Golden Palace (lung). Jiang Mumu (liver) mainly produces hair, but it must rise and fall; Gong Jin (lung) governs the descending, and the descending will rise. Huang Po coordinated them, that is, "regulating liver and lung" as Chinese medicine often said, in order to achieve a harmonious balance. In addition, huangpo is also promoting the relationship between niece (heart) and baby (kidney). Because concubines and babies are virgins who want nothing, they will not have conflicts between husband and wife like Jiang Mumu and Duke of Jin. Huang Po, like a loving grandmother, takes good care of her niece and baby and makes them good friends. When the niece and the baby are combined innocently, they reach what Chinese medicine calls "the intersection of heart and kidney", that is, "fire and water ji ji".
Therefore, the function of spleen and Huang Po is very important. It can coordinate the balance of other viscera and make them live in harmony.
