What are the Buddhist buildings in China?

Buddhist architecture in China includes temples and pagodas. Buddhist temples include ordinary temples and cave temples. The former mostly adopts China palace structure, while others adopt the format of local houses. The latter did not completely copy the Indian format. Buddhist theory has a certain influence on China's traditional architectural theory. The "four phases" theory of Buddhism, namely, earth, water, wind and fire, is highly respected by Feng Shui, an important part of architectural theory, and the concept of the birth of Buddhism also affects the site selection of traditional buildings. Most pagodas are built according to the national format of China, mostly square pagodas and octagons, and a few are covered with bowls or round graves. Stupa has become an indispensable landscape architecture. Buddhist architecture is a great heritage of China's architectural culture.
