Buddhism in China regards February 19th of the lunar calendar as Guanyin's birthday, June 19th as Guanyin's enlightenment day, and September 19th as Guanyin's becoming a monk day, which are collectively called "Guanyin Incense Club". There is also a folk saying that Guanyin sends a child. Every time Guanyin incense is held, people and children who seek happiness come one after another, which has become a great event.
