What does 'adverse reactions, not yet known' mean on a drug insert?

It is what is generally known as the side effects of drugs. The rigorous expression is: Adverse Drug Reaction (English Adverse Drug Reaction, abbreviated ADR), refers to the qualified drugs in the normal dosage of harmful reactions unrelated to the purpose of the drug. ADRs are caused by the inherent characteristics of drugs, and any drug may cause ADRs. Drugs should undergo rigorous animal experiments and clinical trials to determine their effectiveness and safety before they are approved for marketing. The vast majority of chemical drugs are clearly labeled with adverse reactions after these processes to remind doctors and patients to pay attention to the safe use of drugs. The adverse reactions of Chinese medicines are generally labeled as unclear because the approval and management of Chinese medicines do not follow scientific principles and internationally accepted principles of drug management. In other words, Chinese medicines are not subjected to relevant experiments and trials, and can be marketed without determining their efficacy and safety. The labeling of a large number of adverse drug reactions as still unclear is a Chinese characteristic and is extremely irresponsible to patients and lives.
