How to soak wheat bait
The first step: soaking
The material in the picture is the amount of one pound. Soak it for a day and a night, changing the water once in between. When the weather is hot, you can change it more often. Never let the water go rancid.
Step 2: Cooking
Oats have smaller grains than wheat and bloom more easily when cooked. The first couple times I made them, I overcooked them a bit. After a few explorations, I found that you don't have to bring the water to a boil when cooking oats, just cook until the water is bubbling and will roll before rolling off the heat. Don't uncover, slowly smother.
The third step: soaking
Cooked, cooled to not hot, the water will be filtered out, put into a plastic bag, add a tablespoon of wine, a small spoon of bee sugar, mix well, sealed, completely cooled in the refrigerator freezer compartment.
This way the bait is not fermented and can retain a little bit of the original flavor of the oats, with a slight flavor of the wine. If you want to ferment, do not put it in the refrigerator first, put it indoors for a period of time, and let it ferment naturally to make a good Chinese medicine wheat and Chinese medicine corn bait.
When this bait is used as fishing bait, just hook it directly. It is best to use golden hooks, similar to the color of the oats, and concealable.
When using oats as nesting material, first mix raw oats with rice, roughly the ratio of seven parts of rice and three parts of oats. Shake well in a bottle. The bottle should be about 80% full to give them room to expand. Pour in the right amount of medicinal wine, shake well, and shake every few hours, and after 2 days you will be able to use it.
