How to Make Scallion Savory Muffins

Ingredients

Medium gluten flour 2cups

Sour cream 1cup (I used full fat sour cream, it was very thick)

Scallions (chopped) 1/2cup

Baking powder 2?tsp

Baking soda 1/2tsp

Salt 1/2tsp

Sugar 1tbsp

Olive oil 3tbsp (the original recipe used 1/2cup of unsalted butter, I switched to olive oil)

Milk 2tbsp (the original recipe didn't have any milk, I added a little bit to keep the dough from drying out)

Scallion and savory muffin recipe

Prepare all the ingredients

Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

Add the olive oil (the original recipe uses unsalted butter, cut into small pieces, just like the process of making the most common scones)

Mix the olive oil with the flour (I didn't bother to use my hands, I just used a spatula to mix it, if you use butter, you will need to use your hands to make it granular with the butter)

Add the green onions, mix it well, and then add the sour cream, mix it well (mine was very thick, so I added some more).

Press the dough into a cup or mold to make the shape you like (and then knead the rest of the dough and press it again to avoid wasting it), and place it on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and bake the dough for about 25 minutes (until the top is golden and cooked)
