Conghua Chonglou Ancient Village

Cultural monuments are an important part of ecological environment and environmental protection. Chonglou Village, Conghua District, Guangzhou, was built in the Qing Dynasty with a history of nearly 200 years, and is located on the west bank of Liuxi River in the south-central part of Conghua District. It is an administrative village within the jurisdiction of Shenzhen-Hong Kong Town in Conghua District, adjacent to Kapok and Jinggang villages. In August this year, it was officially listed as a cultural relics protection unit in Guangdong Province. Loucun Town, Shenzhen and Hong Kong has long attached great importance to the utilization and protection of the ecological environment, especially to the protection of the ancient village Zhonglou Village. The leading group of the village committee not only guides the villagers' eco-agriculture, but also guides the masses to strengthen the protection of local cultural relics, so that the ruins of the ancient village with a history of nearly 200 years can be well preserved. The site of the ancient village of Zhonglou was built in the late Qing Dynasty, with a history of nearly 200 years. It has gone through different times and periods and is well preserved in constant changes. According to the research of relevant archaeological experts, it was officially listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province in August 2003, and has been declared as a national cultural relic protection unit to the relevant state departments.
