1. Round petal type: plum blossom petal

History: Xianfeng was selected by the Yilan family in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province in the early Qing Dynasty. Also known as the old ten yuan.

Features: The outer three-petal circle has roots, hence the name set circle. Sometimes the petals of plum-shaped daffodils are open and the three petals are slightly round. Five small bangs, yellow-green, flat shoulders and thick petals. This flower looks dignified; Stiff and long flowering period. Old leaves are oblique, with blunt tips, deep veins, thick leaves and low foot shells. Bract leaves are reddish green. This species is stout, easy to bloom and fast in reproduction, and it is one of the most widely distributed varieties of Cymbidium. It is one of the four famous species of Chunlan.

2. Plum petals in West Lake: Plum petals

History: Selected by Gong Maoxing Garden in Hutong of Hangzhou Gunpowder Bureau during Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty.

Features: the three petals are short and round, the roots are closed, the nests are divided, the heart is contained in a semi-hard pocket, and the tongue is small and round. Flowers bloom early. Old leaves are sickle-shaped and thick. Bracts are lavender.

History: Xie Ruishan chose it in Suzhou before the Anti-Japanese War.

Features: five petals are tight and round, three petals are pointed and flat, and the flowers are neat and long. The old leaves are bow-shaped, the bracts are purplish with green, the leaves are dark green, the tips are slightly sharp, the veins are shallow and the feet are high. Because of its rapid propagation and healthy flowers, it is one of the widely spread varieties of orchids.

10. Plum blossom petal type in Liangxi: Plum blossom petal

History: In the early years of the Republic of China, it was originally selected by Suzhou, but it was not named at that time. It was later purchased by Wuxi Yang and renamed after the ancient place name Wuxi.

Features: three-petal round head, slightly notched center of petal tip, flat shoulder, round tongue of big silkworm moth, long flower stem and green color. The old leaves are sickle-shaped, with shallow veins, thin leaves and low foot shells. Bracts are red.

Features: three petals are short and round, with thick petals and five petals. Slightly drooping shoulders. Ruyi tongue. The flower stems are very thin. The color is not pure green. Old leaves are slightly sickle-shaped. The tip of the bract is red. The leaves are slightly thicker.

13. Petal type of Xiaoshan colored plum: plum petals.

History: Cai's family was chosen in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and was later destroyed by war. During the Xianfeng period, fans in Yilan, Ningbo chose similar plums instead, but the outer three petals were slightly narrower and harder than the old ones, and the flower shape was worse than the old ones.

The old leaves are slightly arched, the veins are slightly deep, the foot shell is low and the bracts are green. This kind of flower turns from strong grass to fine, mostly plum-blossom daffodils.
