What are the formats of letters?

How are they written?

The standard format of Chinese emails is: honorific + name of the other party + title: greeting!

Such as dear/dear so-and-so.

Congratulations in the main text!

Your own modest title/title: Your name, year, month, day. The title is also called the "preface", which is the address of the recipient of the letter.

The title should be written in the top box of the first line of the stationery, followed by ":", and no words should be written after the colon.

Your title and signature should correspond to make your relationship with the recipient clear.

2. The main text usually starts with a greeting.

Greeting is a kind of civilized and polite behavior, and it is also a kind of etiquette towards the recipient. It reflects the concern of the writer for the recipient.

Such as "Hello!", "Hello!", "Happy New Year!", "Happy Spring Festival!", etc.

After the greeting, there are often a few opening words.

Such as "Long time no see, hello." "How is everything lately?" "Long time no communication, I miss you so much!" and so on.

3. After finishing the main body of the letter, you must write words of respect, wishes or encouragement as the end of the letter.

When wishing, you can choose appropriate words according to the person and the specific situation. Do not use them indiscriminately to avoid making a joke.

Generally, after writing the main text, write "Sincerely" immediately after, and then write "Salute" at the top of the line or leave two spaces blank.

Others include "salute", "well-being", "health", "peace", etc.

4. Signature and date: On the last line of the letter, sign the name of the writer.

After the signature, sometimes "Yours sincerely", "Yours sincerely", etc. are added depending on the situation to show respect.

The date is used to indicate the time when the letter was written. It should be written after or below the signature.
