The Performance Form of Northeast Yangko
Walking on stilts is also divided into high and low: the high is called high, and the low is called stepping on the inch. The characters played by stilts are: head stilts: Wu Chou dressed up and holding a whip as the commander of the team. Two stilts: Wu Dan dressed up and holding a whip. Old beards and colorful women wear rural clothes and hold long smoking pots or sticks. Coat: Generally, two or three people wear colored ball big braid, colorful long-sleeved coat and long skirt, and hold fans or towels. Bottom: Wear a short-sleeved shirt, trousers and a ribbon around the waist. Usually two or three. Fisherman, fisherman's girl, costume. Others are silly pillars, white snakes, Xu Xian and green snakes. Twist each other's waists and dance in pairs. A group from top to bottom is called "one frame". The best frame is arranged at the end of the queue, which is called "bottom drum" or "pressure drum". When performing in a group, the drummers of the accompaniment band change drums according to their signals, and the whole team is led and commanded by stilts. Northeast Yangko has many skills, such as twisting, dressing up, singing, teasing, beating and miscellaneous, and has different characters. Most of the materials come from fairy tales and folklore, such as Journey to the West, Legend of the White Snake and Liang Zhu.
