Why doesn't Taizhou develop northward?

Compared with coastal cities and developed areas on both sides of the Yangtze River, infrastructure such as transportation and logistics may be relatively imperfect. This may limit the development potential of northern Taizhou.

The economic structure of northern Taizhou may be biased towards traditional industries or agriculture, and the competitiveness of these industries in modern economy may be relatively low, which may lead to the development of northern Taizhou.
