Environmental science is an undergraduate major in Chinese universities. Environmental science mainly studies the basic theories and knowledge of geography, physics, chemistry and biology of the environment, and carries out environmental protection, monitoring, quality evaluation, planning and management. For example, monitoring water quality, air, soil and solid waste, assessing the environmental impact of air, surface water, noise and solid waste, and planning and managing urban living environment.
